Barclays partnered with Unreasonable Group (certified B Corporation) to co-create Unreasonable Impact, supporting growth-stage ventures addressing global challenges including renewable energy, sustainable food, healthcare, and circular economy solutions. Since 2016, the program has supported more than 360 companies globally (113 in APAC), collectively employing over 31,000 people with ventures raising over US$14 billion in funding. Barclays provides financial expertise, fundraising support, and strategic guidance while Unreasonable brings their global community of entrepreneurs and industry experts. A number of the Unreasonable Impact ventures have also been supported by Barclays Climate Ventures, some are used in Barclays’ own operations today, while some have become Barclays clients across Barclays Business, Corporate and Investment banks.
