Enhancing the Community | WEO Water
Luxembourg climate tech company developed the CoRelief platform using AI and satellite data to create community-first climate risk maps along with hyper-local mitigation strategies. Piloted in Dargo, Victoria through QBE, Leading Cities and Australian Red Cross Humanitech partnership, the platform enables residents to contribute local knowledge to hyperlocal risk mapping for floods, fires, and extreme heat. Over 40 community members actively contributed to resilience mapping, with 30+ unique community-generated data points validated and 6 local product champions trained. The innovation is expanding nationally through Australian Red Cross partnership and internationally to different parts of Africa.
