Enhancing the Community | Barclays
Barclays LifeSkills programme across APAC provides employability training to underserved groups through charity partnerships. Co-created with local NGOs, the programme offers financial literacy, digital skills, interview preparation, and post-placement mentorship with a focus on sustained employment. Over the past decade, 500,000 people have been supported into jobs with 42,000 placed in 2024 alone – those placed also include neurodiverse individuals, ex-prisoners, ethnic minorities, and single mothers who have taken part in a 12-month training and mentorship programme.
