The advent of social media has transformed the way we collaborate but there is still nothing quite like the energy and, often, the results you get from gathering smart, aware people in a room to solve problems. So, the Shared Value Project is collaborating with Hub Melbourne to host regular meet-ups.
The goal of the group is to engage people working in the shared value, corporate social responsibility, social enterprise and social investment spaces in Australia to develop shared value practice and collaborate on achieving positive social, economic and environmental impacts.
Specifically, we’ll use the recently refurbished and redesigned space at Hub to:
- discuss the changing shape of shared value practice in Australia
- identify social, environmental and economic problems that can be solved with shared value thinking
- build connections between social change practitioners in government, business and the community sectors
- create new practice models for use in our own organisations
We’ll start pretty open and see where it takes us.
Join us on:
Thursday, 26 April 2012 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Hub Melbourne – Level 3, 673 Bourke St, Melbourne CBD
