Sharon Morris

General Manager, CIPS Australia and New Zealand

Sharon is the General Manager of CIPS – The Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply in Australia and New Zealand, commencing the role in August 2019. Prior to CIPS, she was CEO of The Mother’s Day Classic Foundation, Australia’s largest community-driven breast cancer research fundraiser, raising over $36M. She also worked for Women in Super, a national advocacy and networking membership body. She is currently a Board Director of the Australian Public Service Benefits Group and chairs their Engagement Committee

Sharon has over 20 years’ experience in managing a wide range of projects in Australia and overseas. She is a highly motivated leader with a proven track record in strategy and implementation of high-profile engagement and awareness initiatives in the not-for-profit and government sectors.

As General Manager, CIPS Australia and New Zealand, Sharon believes procurement and supply is intrinsically placed to be a real change agent and driver for the greater good. Issues such as modern day slavery, sustainability and ethics are core not only for the profession but also for the wider society to address; and CIPS is positioned perfectly to drive that agenda forward.
