Sam is responsible for business development across the Group’s shared value business models, Community Bank® and Alliance Bank®, as well as stakeholder engagement on shared value, environmental and social issues.

Sam has led the bank’s participation in the Creating Shared Value discussion, including strategy development and execution, delivering the Social Impact Loan program in 2016.

Sam has a wealth of experience in the banking industry both in commercial and management roles and as a qualified lawyer. In over 10 years with Bendigo he has held a variety of senior management, Executive and Directorship positions across both debt and equity portfolios, strategy, as well as leadership roles in its retail business.
