Sally Truong is the Director of the Private Sector Development Section in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, which manages Australia’s flagship initiative to engage business in Australia’s aid program through a shared value approach – the Business Partnerships Platform.

She has previously managed Australia’s engagement with multilateral sectoral funds including the Green Climate Fund, GAVI, the Vaccine Alliance, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, and the Global Partnership for Education (GPE).  She has also managed Australia’s partnership and engagement with the Asian Development Bank and engaged with business on climate change, alternative fuels and renewable energy issues.
