The leading cruise operator in Australasia, Carnival Australia has sailed to the South Pacific for more than 85 years. From the outset, Carnival has worked with island communities to share the economic benefits of cruising, and to support sustainable development.

Most recently, via its YuMi Tourism project, Carnival, in collaboration with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, and The Difference Incubator, is empowering local tour operators, further diversifying the tours on offer, and building a more meaningful cultural exchange for cruise passengers.

Through its accelerator program that focuses on core business skills, product development and testing, YuMi Tourism is giving emerging local entrepreneurs direct access to one of their biggest markets – cruise ship tourists.
