Insight is a networking events series that brings together like-minded professionals with a common interest in striving for business at its best through creating shared value.
Hosted by Shared Value Project members, these events are an opportunity to hear from Australian business leaders about their company’s shared value journey, and how they are changing the role of business in society in Australia.
Building on their perspective paper “Strategy and Measurement: Towards Lead-Practice in Community Investment”, Karrikins Group’s Chief Creative Officer Dom Thurbon will share his thoughts on the rapid evolution of traditional community investment approaches toward strategy-driven shared value. Effective strategy is a means to discover shared value opportunities for you and your partners – but it’s all about asking the right questions. Dom will give examples to demonstrate ways organisations are building strategy that matters to the community and their stakeholders, delivers genuine shared value, and why measurement is so important.
