This workshop is designed to help you understand the concept of shared value as a business framework to solve society’s problems in a profitable, sustainable, and scalable way.

The ‘Introduction to shared value’ workshop, with facilitator Hugh Foley, will provide clear direction on how shared value works in practice to counter industry challenges and create new opportunities, drawing on international case studies and their local experiences.

The course is designed for people from all industries interested in improving the social performance of their organisations and operations, or for those preparing for a career in this field. Participants will walk away from the course with a better understanding of shared value and its impact on business, a knowledge of global best practice through select case studies and a set of tools for practical implementation.

While the focus of the workshop is on shared value theory and practice, participants will also explore the relationship between shared value as a business strategy and other forms of corporate participation in societal issues through practices such as corporate philanthropy and corporate social responsibility.

Whether you are working in the corporate, government, or not-for-profit sector, this workshop will help you fully understand the concept of shared value as a framework to solve society’s problems in a profitable, sustainable, and scalable way. Plus, you’ll be well equipped to inform and lead discussions with your peers and apply the concepts to your own strategic agenda.

Morning tea will be provided.

Please note, spaces are limited. RSVP by Friday 07 June to secure your space.
