It’s time to move the needle on impact investing – we are at a critical fork in the road. In one direction, the sector continues to mature, which necessitates courageous action and leadership, and in the other, we risk losing momentum.
There has never been a more urgent time to shift to the new paradigm of RISK-RETURN-IMPACT, and to collectively (in the words of impact investing pioneer Sir Ronald Cohen) “align the minds of investors, philanthropists, entrepreneurs, social organisations, big business, and governments, so that we can root out persistent problems. It is time for us all to gather around the new watchword of our young century: impact”.
