  • Expect to be inspired: The plenary stage will feature inspirational speakers who find business opportunities in social challenges. This year, Novartis CEO Joseph Jimenez and Enel CEO Francesco Starace will be among many corporate leaders represented on stage. More speakers will be announced.
  • Expect to get to work: Explore shared value trends and troubleshoot your own challenges with other leaders in practitioner-led labs, office hours with experts, and social innovation pitch sessions. Stay tuned for more structured networking opportunities at this year’s event—and see how you can get your idea on stage.

Who Should Attend the Summit?

The shared value approach brings together actors from across sectors to create business solutions to social problems—senior leaders from corporate, nonprofit, and public sectors are encouraged to attend. We welcome more than 400 practitioners from all over the world to the Summit each year, who share best practices and pursue partnership opportunities during ample mingling time. Browse last year’s attendees from leading companies like Facebook, Toyota, FedEx, Taco Bell and more; as well as top NGOs like Save the Children, Heifer, and Mercy Corps.

What Happens at the Summit?

400 world leaders, business trailblazers, and nonprofit experts alike convened at last year’s Summit to discuss the private sector’s role in achieving the Global Goals, the power of purpose in attracting and retaining talent, and equity as a business imperative. In shared value lab sessions, subject-matter experts led interactive, innovative discussions with peers and attendees.
