Rhod Ellis-Jones

Deputy Chair and co-founder, Shared Value Project

Rhod is a business strategist with diverse experience delivering advice and services to major private and public companies, governments and non-government organisations. He has been an adviser to high profile politicians and government leaders at capital city, state and national levels. Rhod is currently principal consultant for Australian agency Ellis Jones. His key areas of professional interest include shared value, engagement as communication, the social web, brand and place identity, and social impact. He has pioneered the application of shared value as a concept in practice – as a cross sector engagement model and business practice. Rhod holds a Masters of Arts (Communication) from RMIT University and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Melbourne. He is a regular presenter at conferences and commentator on shared value, place branding, and health sector communication. His enduring interest in the arts has led to appointments as trustee for Budapest-based visual arts foundation, Blood Mountain, and board member for Chunky Move, Australia’s leading contemporary dance company.
