Helen has over 20 years’ experience in community investment and corporate responsibility, including working within the NGO sector. She launched the Corporate Social Responsibility function at Optus and now leads the sustainability team including strategy development and focussing on creating shared value for both the business and the community, social innovation, environment, supply chain, sustainability communications and reporting.
Helen led the development of Optus Future Makers in 2016, an accelerator program that empowers social start ups who leverage technology to provide solutions for societal challenges. The program has now expanded globally with the Singtel Group of companies. Helen was also responsible for developing several strategic programs, such as Optus’ digital citizenship program – Digital Thumbprint launched in 2013.
Prior to joining Optus, Helen held senior roles in Tabcorp and World Vision Australia. She holds a Masters degree in change management.
