Essentials by AAI is an accessible insurance cover available to people on low incomes, born out of a partnership between Suncorp Group and not-for- profit organisation Good Shepherd Microfinance.

Essentials is a new product innovation designed to make profit and also address a fundamental need in the community. Essentials addresses the issues of insurance affordability and financial exclusion in Australia, by offering a sustainable insurance product that enables people on low incomes to accumulate and use assets with much greater safety and confidence.
