Hosted by shared value expert, Hugh Foley, the ‘Advancing shared value’ workshop builds on the fundamental theory covered in the ‘Introduction to shared value’ workshop to explore how companies and their partners can identify and develop shared value strategies to address social and environmental challenges.
This workshop is not to be missed by practitioners who have a solid understanding of the shared value concept and are looking to execute and embed a shared value strategy within their organisation.
Through interactive exercises and case studies, the class will focus on the tactics a company and its partners can use to apply the shared value theory in a practical and tangible way. The class will also explore how shared value can extend beyond individual initiatives to inform the broader strategy, purpose, culture and leadership of the organisation.
The session will cover:
- A brief re-cap of fundamental shared value theory
- Developing a shared value initiative – how to identify opportunities and develop a shared value approach
- Embedding shared value at the enterprise level – linking purpose, capacity building and leadership to shared value
- Working with partners
