Harley Wright joined Opal as Chief Financial Officer in 2011. In August 2016, Harley was appointed General Manager, Corporate Services to further enhance and simplify Opal’s quality and systems platforms. Prior to this, Harley was responsible for the financial strategy of AMPCI’s aged care portfolio, including the financing of growth opportunities, communication with debt providers and raising capital from equity investors.

Before joining AMPCI, Harley was an investment banker at UBS in Sydney and with Goldman Sachs in New York, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and equity raising. During his banking career, Harley was involved in a number of significant social infrastructure transactions including DCA’s privatisation by CVC and the subsequent sale of DCA’s Australian and New Zealand aged care business.

His expertise includes financial analysis, valuation, corporate restructuring, contract negotiation and transaction execution.
