Shared Value Project Founding Member NAB is hiring an Associate Director, Social Innovation.

The focus of this role is to work with the Head of Social Innovation to identify, assess and prioritise emerging opportunities (Philanthropy, CR, Shared Value) aligned to the Social Impact Strategy.

You will lead, connect and motivate others (in Social Impact and across the business) to prioritise initiatives, programs and product integration projects that will deliver strong outcomes for NAB customers and society. Specifically, you will:

  • Have responsibility for the design and implementation of new initiatives that support NAB’s Social Impact strategy, exploring how NAB can best respond to emerging societal risks and opportunities and building ownership from key business partners
  • Lead and deliver short term projects that will advance the Social Impact Strategy and the Corporate Affairs Strategy
  • Establish and maintain complex internal and external stakeholder relationships to deliver business, and societal outcomes and reputational benefits to NAB
  • Represent NAB at internal and external conferences and events
  • Shape NAB’s social innovation culture and training agenda, including acting as an advisor on shared value and social/business initiatives across the organisation

What you’ll bring

With outstanding influencing skills to build and maintain complex stakeholder relationships, you can also demonstrate:

  • Tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline
  • Substantial experience in financial services or experience across a range of businesses and sectors (private, public, for purpose sector)
  • Outstanding written and oral communications skills with proven ability to present to a wide range of audiences
  • Resourcefulness, with a strong track record of managing disparate stakeholders
  • Strong project management experience
  • Strategic mindset and strong business acumen with an absolute passion for driving complex systems change through leveraging the power of business
