The climate is changing in ways we’ve never seen before. With bushfires ravishing the land, historic hurricanes and devastating floods, the implications of climate change are far reaching.

For many businesses, climate risk is a new concept but with the threat of climate change only growing in severity, it’s a concept that is now essential to a company’s long-term success. According to BlackRock Chair Larry Fink, this new awareness of climate risk is pushing us towards a fundamental reshaping of finance. What does this mean for business and investors?

Join us on Tuesday 20 October with moderator SVP CEO Helen Steel, BlackRock Director, Client Sustainability Specialist Steve Monnier and QBE Group Head of Sustainability Janette O’Neill to unpack:

  • How business and investors are thinking about climate risk and ESG
  • What the future of investment looks like in the face of climate change
  • Best practice approaches to integrating a climate risk strategy and the role that shared value can play

When: 2.00pm, Tuesday 20 October
Where:
 Online via Zoom
