Shared Value Project Workshop: Accelerating the Development of Shared Value Opportunities, 18 August, Melbourne

July 8, 2015

Whether you are working in the corporate or not-for-profit sector, moving from a ‘shared value opportunity’ to a fully resourced business proposition is challenging. Understanding where the benefits are and how to communicate those benefits to key stakeholders are issues that many organisations wishing to practice shared value are grappling with.

At the first in a series of Shared Value Project workshops, shared value expert Phil Preston will equip attendees with the tools and knowledge to overcome these challenges.

Attendees will gain an understanding of:

  • Who benefits from your initiative and how?
  • Who else is involved and what’s driving their interest?
  • How do you align internal and external stakeholders?
  • What key assumptions will need to be tested and how?
  • How do you communicate your idea effectively?

The workshop will provide an introduction to the Shared Value Canvas – a tool that will help attendees rapidly take an idea from concept to reality.

You don’t have your killer idea yet? It doesn’t matter – in this workshop participants will learn the process, and how to use the Shared Value Canvas tool again and again. To help generate ideas prior to the workshop, participants will be sent an ‘idea shortcut’ worksheet to ensure you arrive with something to work on.

At this workshop attendees will gain an understanding and the skills to take shared value theory and put it into practice within their own organisations. It is a great opportunity to work up your ideas in an energising and confidential environment.
