Established in 2002 by the founders of Intrepid Travel, The Intrepid Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation that allows travellers to give back to the communities they visit.
Since its inception, The Intrepid Foundation worked closely with more than 100 NGOs around the world to support initiatives in healthcare, education, gender equality, human rights, child welfare, sustainable development, environmental conservation and wildlife protection.
With the support of the Intrepid Group, The Intrepid Foundation has expanded its reach and provided more travellers the opportunity to donate to projects that they visit. Each of the travel companies under the Intrepid Group shares the same responsible travel practices and philosophies, and are dedicated to promoting positive and sustainable development in the communities they travel to.
